Crossroads Ecomotel Pty Ltd
The following Terms & Conditions are set out for the safety and enjoyment of all Ecomotel Pty Ltd guests. Failure to adhere to our terms and conditions may result in booking cancellation or eviction.
Every effort will be made to ensure the comfort, enjoyment and safety of each guest while ensuring that one guest's pleasures do not impinge on the comfort, enjoyment and safety of other guests.
All items in the rooms are the property of Ecomotel Pty Ltd and are available for sale at reception. Any items taken from the rooms will be charged to your credit card.
By making a reservation and paying a deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read these terms & conditions carefully.
1 Bookings
- All bookings require a valid Credit/Debit card.
- By providing valid credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Ecomotel Pty Ltd to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no-show penalties as detailed below.
- A deposit of the first night's tariff is required to secure the reservation. For bookings made on the Ecomotel Pty Ltd website, this deposit is required to be paid online via credit card at the time of booking. Balance of monies is due and payable on the day of arrival, including full payment for any additional persons or nights.
- Refund of a deposit is usually conditional upon the cancelled booking being taken up by another guest.
2 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations notified more than 24 hours prior to the first date booked will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid.
- Book Direct: Cancellations of 24 hours or less prior to the first date booked will forfeit all monies paid.
- Online Travel Agencies: Cancellations of 72 hours (3 days) prior to check-in time of 2:00 PM is required. If guests fail to cancel prior to the 72 hours, the cost of the first night will be charged. If the booking is postponed within this 72-hour period and then later cancelled, the cost of the first night will be charged.
- Non-arrivals or guests who fail to notify of cancellations will forfeit the monies paid.
3 Office Hours
Office hours are between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM daily. Check-in after hours is via arrangement whereby the security gate code and night safe code will be texted to you on the day of check-in.
4 Check-in & Check-out Times
- Arrival: Check-in is 2:00 PM on the day of the booking.
- Departure: Check-out is 10:00 AM on day of departure.
- Early check-in or late check-out is at the discretion of Motel Management. Fees may apply.
- Due to variations to reservations, specific room or site allocations cannot be guaranteed.
5 General Behaviour
- Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM. Disturbances to other guests after 10:00 PM will be taken seriously with the offending guest/s given a request to keep the noise down. Failure to comply may lead to eviction.
- Ecomotel Pty Ltd reserves the right to immediately evict any guest, visitor or member of the public for any anti-social behaviour, including but not limited to: possession or use of illegal drugs, wilful damage to Ecomotel property, theft, physical or verbal abuse of staff, other guests or the public.
- In the event of an eviction, all money held or due will be forfeited and the registered guest will be unable to make future reservations at Ecomotel Pty Ltd.
6 Damages / Property Loss
- We endeavour to supply quality products and supplies to each room. If you would like to acquire one of these, they are available for purchase from reception. Items taken from rooms will be charged to your credit card.
- Registered guests shall be liable for any loss or damage to the appliances, furniture, keys/passes, fixtures and fittings in the accommodation, fair wear and tear excluded. A fee may be charged if excessive cleaning is required after departure.
- The registered guest has the responsibility of ensuring that people staying with them behave in an appropriate manner and conform with our terms and conditions. The registered guest will be held responsible for the conduct of persons staying with them and be financially liable for any costs arising out of bad behaviour.
- It is the responsibility of the guests to lock their rooms and return the key to reception. A fee of $25 will be charged for unreturned keys.
7 Forms of Payment
Payment is accepted by EFT, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFTPOS or cash.
8 Group Bookings
Group bookings require the following:
- 50% deposit within 7 days of booking
- Rooming list (final) 7 days prior to arrival
- Cancellation — 30 days notice: No charge
- Cancellation — 10 days notice: 50% of booking
- Cancellation — Less than 10 days: 75% of booking
9 Maximum Numbers per Unit
- The number of people accommodated in each unit must not exceed the number of beds available.
- Infants under 2 years of age are free of charge, however a charge of $20.00 applies if a cot is required.
- Child rates of $20.00 apply to ages 2–15 years. Ecomotel Pty Ltd reserves the right to request proof of age.
10 Personal Belongings
- While every effort is made to provide a safe and secure environment, Ecomotel Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal item. Remember to lock your room when not occupied.
- A secure compound is provided however it is advisable to lock your vehicle and remove any valuables as parking is at your own risk.
- Thoroughly check the accommodation before departure as any items left behind may not be recovered. Items left behind will be stored for 20 days with recovery the responsibility of the guest.
11 Pet Policy
Two rooms are dedicated as PET FRIENDLY. These rooms have an outside deck area with a small, enclosed yard. Pets are allowed in these two rooms ONLY. Prior arrangement is required and pets must not detract from the experience of other guests.
- One pet per room unless prior arrangement.
- Pets not allowed on the beds or furniture.
- Pets not to be left alone in the rooms.
- Dogs must be on a lead outside the rooms.
- Clean up after your animal.
- Any additional cleaning or damage fees will be charged to the guest including smelly dogs which prevent the room being sold the following night.
12 Pre-Authorisation
- Ecomotel Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge a credit card pre-authorisation of $200 on arrival. This authorisation will be held until after you have departed.
- If you cannot produce a credit card, a $200 cash bond with driver's license identity will be acceptable. Delays may occur on departure where a cash bond has been paid as a room inspection will be carried out prior to refund of bond monies.
- In the case of damage and/or loss, or excessive cleaning, we have permission to recover this cost from the credit card or cash bond. Unused funds from pre-authorisations will be cleared within 10 working days.
13 Prices
All prices quoted are in Australian dollars, are inclusive of GST and subject to change without notice due to seasonal and other variations.
14 Smoking
All buildings at Ecomotel Pty Ltd are non-smoking. By law, it is prohibited to smoke inside or within 5 metres of any public building. Smoking inside your accommodation will incur a minimum fee of $100.
15 Tenancy
Regardless of your length of stay there is no tenancy or other rights created under any laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay. We grant you a license to stay in our units for the time of occupancy stated.
16 Complaints
- Ecomotel Pty Ltd endeavours to provide each guest with quality accommodation and an enjoyable stay. We aim to provide the best value for money accommodation in Port Augusta.
- Please feel free to report complaints and disturbances to management and every effort will be made to overcome any issues encountered. Please be respectful of other guests.
- If the manager cannot resolve a complaint, please provide written details of your complaint to hotel management and a written response will be provided within ten days.
These Terms and Conditions can be altered at any time without prior notification.
